Send a "Thank You" Card.

Next time you think about someone who positively influenced you in your life or career, take a minute and write them a letter or drop them a postcard. Tell them how you appreciate them and their influence on your life. Do not procrastinate - mail it to them, today, before the good intention fades away. I do not recommend the use of e-mail for this "thank you" - the extra effort it takes to use snail-mail adds to the value and surprise of getting something physical from you. There are two people who will get the feeling that this simple action "made my day a great day" - The recipient and YOU!
