Throw Out Some Stuff

Short and simple: Don't wait until you have to move or do a major home improvement project to clean out some of your Collection of Antiques and Really-useless Possessions (CRAP).

My back is killing me today after spending the last four days simply emptying my garage of 20 years of CRAP. It seems so silly to think of the amount of work (and expense) that has gone into storing stuff that is now on its way to either the landfill or the local Christian Community Bargain Store for resale. If I had gotten rid of all of it sooner, my life would have most definitely been much more organized and those items are of value and frequent use would have been much easier to find.

I'll bet that each of us could be just a few minutes more productive each week if we were better organized and surrounded by less stuff. If you could save just 15 minutes a day, after a year that time would amount up to more than SIX, EIGHT-HOUR DAYS! What could you do with that amount of time returned to you?

Any ideas of ways to be more organized and efficient with stuff and CRAP? Send your ideas to me. When I get organized and more efficient, I'll post them on the Net!
